About
Marnix Morskate

From the process outward
Marnix holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente. His career grew from process engineering through plant management, supply chain, process development, technology management and operational excellence to global manufacturing transformation.
At FrieslandCampina he worked on standards, best practices and manufacturing capabilities across a complex multi-site organisation. It shaped a conviction: successful digital manufacturing starts with understanding how the factory actually works — before any technology is selected.
That philosophy became 2MM2, founded in 2024. Marnix works at the interfaces: process engineering with production engineers, performance with plant management, ISA-95 with OT specialists, ERP with the business and data structures with IT — translating between worlds that are technically connected but organisationally separated.

The story behind the two 2's
To truly master manufacturing, you have to connect the industrial control layer with the enterprise layer — and with daily operations in between.
The first 2 stands for ISA-95 Level 1/2: PLCs, SCADA, sensors. The last 2 points to Level 4: ERP, planning and supply chain.
Each 2 also carries a second meaning: a stoichiometric coefficient for the chemical engineering roots, and an exponent for Six Sigma's statistical rigour. And "MM"? Those are the founder's initials.
